HISTORY OF THE TEAMS
Bournemouth famously beat Manchester United 2-0 in the third round of the FA Cup back in 1984 to record one of the biggest upsets in the history of the competition. Manchester United were the holders of the trophy having beaten Brighton 4-0 in a replay in the 1983 final.
The teams met again in the third round of the FA Cup the following year with Bournemouth losing 3-0.
Bournemouth played Manchester United most recently, loosing 3-1.
